As to combine a good cheese with a wine of Spain

Spain exists a great variety of cheeses, which together with the great variety of wines allows a great variety of combinations. Next we will detail a series of advice to logar a good combination, that it allows to prevail the flavor of the cheese over the one of its companion.

The fresh cheeses as it is the case of the cheese of Towns or Mató, marry or with light and dry white wines, like the broths of Wheel or the Penedés. In the case of the cheese Afuega'l Pitu, when having a more intense and persistent flavor, better house with the red noble and afrutados, like young wines of Rioja and Shore of Duero, or with wines of Valdepeñas.

The Cake of Casar, of cremosa paste and characteristic flavor, is preferable to combine it with red wines with body and aroma: Rioja, Navarre or Cariñena. On the other hand the cheeses of Cabrales, Gamonedo and the Pear tree, characterized by an intense and persistent flavor, combine with red wines with body and forts well: The Rioja, Priorato or Shore of Duero; despite also we can decide on one more a more dangerous combination with sweet wines as the Moscatel wine.

The soft paste cheeses, to tier to us, as they can be the cheeses of Mahón, the Carballo, cheeses of Peñamellera,… thank for the young and afrutados white wine company like the broths of the Penedés and Navara.

In the case of cured cheeses of ewe like the Manchego, Idiazabal and Roncal; the perfect combination is obtained with red with body like the Rioja and the Shore of the Duero.

In case we choose to taste a cheese table, he is preferable to choose a young wine of Rioja, Shore of the Duero or Penedés.
